Plenty of visitors ride the U-Bahn straight to Theresienwiese, and just as many get off at the Hauptbahnhof and walk the whole way. The ones who really know Munich take the S-Bahn to Hackerbrücke instead. Our platform sits right under the bridge, so you head up the stairs and walk across the bridge towards Theresienwiese. Just past the bridge you'll pass a small beer garden run by a pizzeria, right where our locker tent used to stand. All told, you're on the festival grounds in about 5 minutes on foot.
